The Hygge Sampler Quilt Pattern - Tester Quilts

This picture shows my hygge spot. :) In the evenings, I’m cuddled up right there with my book or handstitching, a fire, a hot mug of tea and my fluffy cat. And now, we have a super hygge quilt to add to the mix with flannel goodness on the front and soft minky on the back.

In order to make things just right for the Hygge Sampler, I worked with a great group of testers. This is a big job for all of us! They worked through the entire pattern, checking to make sure all i’s were dotted and t’s crossed. I am so grateful for their help!

PATTERN DETAILS

COMPLETE SAMPLER PATTERN The Hygge Sampler is set up as a 12-Month Block of the Month pattern, but it may be worked at your own pace as well. When you purchase the pattern, the complete pattern (Months 1-12, including the setting pattern), comes in one file.

The Hygge Sampler Blocks.

  • Pictures of objects that represent hygge concepts and lifestyle

  • Make 1-5 blocks per month

  • Intermediate pattern

  • Skill Building: traditional piecing, applique, basic foundation paper piecing, templates

  • Video tutorials

Finished Block Size: 12” x 12” or 24” x 24” | Finished Quilt Size: 64” x 76”

So grab the pattern, your favorite calming color palette and some cozy flannel or minky for the backing- the warmer, the fuzzier... the more hygge it will be! Details on fabric selection coming up on Friday 2/5/21.
