I had to scroll way back on Instagram to figure out exactly when I started this project. Here we are at August and Block #8. It’s hard to imagine needing mittens right now, as the heat is blazing here in the late summer. But let’s do out best to get in the hygge mood this month. We are sewing 3 Mitten blocks. When I think of fall and winter, I love how knitted hats and mittens have become not just items to be used in cold weather, but also a fashion statement that completes a cozy look. Do you reserve mittens and a beanie for only days when it snows? Or are they regular wears in winter months? I’m always cold, so they are a cool weather staple for me.
