I love to watch the sun disappear over the wooded hills of the lake we frequent. The slow decent of the sun and the arrival of the stars made me want to design a quilt with many stars twinkling on the soft and almost neutral-colored sky during the golden hour. Soothing and mesmerizing. As summer turns into autumn, fire and candleight become more present as lasting daylight fades. This block captures our fascination with the flame.
